Happy New Year 2015

2014 brought a lot of challenges. I couldn't have imagined a year ago that my world would have changed as much as it did. But as I sit here and reflect I have to believe that everything happens for a reason, right? I have learned so much about life over the course of a year. First and foremost, don't take anything or anyone for granted. Life is too precious. Live with no regrets. If you need to say you're sorry, say it when you feel it, you may not get another chance.

Say thank you when someone does something for you, big or small. A simple thank you can go a long way.

Love with your whole heart, no strings attached. And never be too busy for your family or your friends. You never know when you may get the chance again.

One last thing to remember - if you're thinking about someone, let them know. Take the time to call and ask someone how they are doing. It may be just what that person needs at that moment. A small gesture can mean so much.

My goal with this blog is to create awareness of pancreatic cancer and to promote healing for those that have lost someone to this beast.  I will be posting (or reposting) things that I learn, tips to healthier living, fundraising activities, etc. I would love to hear from you, and get your feedback on the information I provide.

Here's to a healthy and happy new year. Be safe and be healthy. #wagehope #stonestrong
